This is the garden of our B&B in Papeete. Lovley shady spots to relax and do crosswords.

This is a link to a short interactive panorama of the B&B garden.

Day 2, Mo`orea

Pic

Today we decided to take the ferry to the island of Mo`orea

While waiting for the ferry to leave, I took this panorama of the wharf in Papeete with two cruise ships. The Paul Gauguin in front and the Emerald Princess behind. (Sorry about the bad stiching).

Here is the panorama link.

As we pass the reef we can see the island of Mo`orea.

This is the ferry terminal on the island. We decided not stay here and reboarded the ferry to head back to Papeete.

Here we are back in Papeete and having lunch.

Day 5, Rarotonga

13th November

Pic

After a sea day yesterday we have arrived at our first port. Unfortunatly the swell is expected to pick up and tendering will be dangerous, so this port of call has been cancelled. Here is the tender returning with some passengers who were not able to join us in Papeete.

Pic

This is where we would have landed if we were allowed ashore.

Pic

Just along from the dock is the Cook Island Trading Company supermarket. We have shopped here in the past.

Day 6, Sea Day

Once again the swell made it too dangerous to tender so Alofi was cancelled.
Tonight we cross the date line so we miss Friday and tomorrow will be Saturday in Vava'u.

At last! We are able to go ashore. These photos are of the market at the tender landing site.

I made an interactive 360deg panorama of the market.

We went for a walk round town and were struck by the different condition of the houses. In the upper photo you can see, on the right, the roof of the house in the photo below it.
