Day 6 Puerto Caldera (Costa Rica)

Our first stop on our tour today is to see these capuchin monkeys.

Next we went to a shop to try fruit and cane juice.

Just before we reached Iximche we drove through the town of Tecpan on market day.

When we arrived at Iximche our guide gave us an introduction to the Mayan writing and number system.

Playa Santa Cruz is a beach town so a little walk round the streets was all we did. It was very hot. These are photos of the beach and town.

We're in Gastown now and this is a statue of "Gassy" Jack Deighton. So called because of his habit of talking at length. The area around his saloon was called Gassy's Town.
